What's the difference between routes, tracks and way-points?
Tracks describe a course you can travel along. Each track has a start and an end way-point where other tracks could be connected to.
Routes are a sequence of several tracks you visit during your course.
To build a route you first need to define tracks. When you create a route you add tracks in the desired order to her. The distance of a route is always the sum of the distances of the tracks the route contains.
Note: If you happen to create a route with only one track and you have set the track to bidirectional then the route will not change it's distance. The only difference now is that you are able to add the track a second time to the route.
