Bugfix: Fixed an import localization issue (ralph)

Bugfix: Close layout route was impossible when a route contained a track more than twice. (thomas)

Changes in Build 1.5 (v188)

Note: This is Release 1.5, the next major step for TrailRunner. Thanks to anyone helping me by sending bug reports and feedback. For a detailed list of changes, visit trailrunnerx.com and read the Blog article on this release.

Better: Background maps now load seamlessly as you move the working area. Therefore TrailRunner will remove any previously cached maps but will re-cache over time for offline usage.

Better: The view is not anymore limited to a small fraction of the world and you can now zoom in and out like in GoogleEarth.

Better: A new locations browser lets you now search for cities and locations from all over the world.

Worse: TrailRunner 1.5 will no longer support documents that where calibrated manually. Before you upgrade to TrailRunner 1.5 you should first calibration your document. Read the TrailRunner 1.4 Help on how that works.

Better: A new map source was added: OpenStreetMap. The maps are either extremely detailed or have almost no coverage at all.

Better: Manually adding maps and rotating them was simplified. You no longer need calibration points but can stretch and rotate them until they match the background map.

Better: Much improved the merge routes algorithm. It's now faster and more accurate. Additionally you can now import a workout and add only a diary entry, without the need to merge or add tracks.

Better: Updated french localization (thx david)

Better: Added to Preferences > Services for Elevation Downloads: Load for way-points only and Load only missing data. Also added a new Consolidate command to remove any elevation data for the selected element. (michael)

Better: Added a "View selected route in Google Earth" Toolbar command.

Better: Added a Polar HRM2 workout file import. Just double click, drag or open a .hrm file and TrailRunner should display a workout import pane like with Nike+iPod workouts. The Import can only import file versions including and above 1.06 with distance information contained.

Better: Reworked the application icon. It should now better reflect what TrailRunner is about: collect, explore and run !

Bugfixes: Some heavy crasher bugs and other problems where found and removed.

Changes in Build 1.5 (v180)

Note: I still have one or three minor things to fix and then the list for this release has come to and end. But is TrailRunner 1.5 ready for release? Please send bug reports if you don't think so. Many Thanks to all testers...!

Better: Much improved the merge routes algorithm. It's now faster and more accurate. Please note that merging is very complex. So I give the algorithm 15 seconds to work. If your Mac isn't that fast, some manual merging might need to be done afterwards. But it should be ok in most cases.

Changes in Build 1.3 (v136)

New: Multiple diaries for Triathletes and Groups! Add several diaries to track workouts independently for several persons or sport activities. See Manage Diaries in the diary action menu and add as many as you like. (the horde)

Note: The multiple diaries feature will update your diary file to a newer version. Be sure to regularly make backups! See Help > Index > Backup Files to learn where TrailRunner puts your vital vitae.

New: While you select routes to be imported, you can open the info-pane and set attributes. (e.g. set the accuracy of the import source and then merge).

Better: Added a accuracy attribute to tracks. Tracks with a higher accuracy will be kept during merge.

Except the original color is being kept to better reflect what track won during the merge. Tip: if you are uncertain about the general accuracy of a route to be merged, import the route as one piece and analyze the overlay in the map and in the route description window. Update accuracies and then choose Merge Selection from the File > Consolidate Menu with the newly imported track selected.

Bugfix: Under certain circumstances routes imported from Training Center where capped. (marc, tilman)
